A series of nature-themed video art screenings in Savonlinna August 21 – September 12 2021.

Artists' Association Yö organizes a unique series of nature-themed video art screenings in collaboration with Savonlinna International Nature Film Festival will from August until the middle of September.
The opening event will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Riihisaari together with Elokuvapiknik-event. With approximately 400 annual visitors, Elokuvapiknik is the largest single event of the SINFF-festival. The main theme of the screenings is Journey, and the chairman of the board of Artists' Association Yö, artist Ilkka Pitkänen with cultural producer Anna Rombach have been responsible for the selection of the artworks. The works have been compiled into two screenings, which are shown alternately after the opening screening. The works will be projected on the wall of a grain bin built in 1852. Currently the grain bin facilities Riihisaari museum.
Savonlinna Nature Film Festival is a four-day interdisciplinary event in the heart of Savonlinna. The festival program includes nature and environmental films, music, art, discussions, outdoor screenings and program for the whole family. The Savonlinna International Nature Film Festival was held for the first time in 2010.
